So I'm kind of a QD junkie, but I always gravitate back to Megs 34 and Adams QD. However, I had ordered some FK425 from here last month, hadn't really used it much yet.

Well, used it today at a show on my 2003 Viper, which is black. Wow, really makes that paint pop. Was a little finicky and streaky at first, but I'm finding you need to use very little.

Just a shout out, I like this product.

THank you, and that's a nice Bee you have there. I have one of those myself - an 07 SRT8 Bee, Detonator Yellow. Currently sitting at the dealer for them to look at on Monday. Had the dreaded "stuck in park" issue tonight.

Great car, and I like it as much or more than the Viper. Haven't tried the Finish Kare on the Bee yet.

I used 425 today as well. The thing is, people report its finicky but its never been anything but super easy for me. No streaking nothing. Wonder why.

For me, FK425 works better than Adam's QD.
Both can streak depending on weather, paint, towels used ect.
FK425 also cost $29/gallon vs $45.

Dodo Red Mist is also a excellent QD.

Same for me just a spritz will do...

The trick with FK425 to avoid streaking is something that I learned from a post on Autopia by Todd:
Spray the QD on a microfiber towel to apply and wipe off with a second towel.

I really like the Adams, very easy to apply, and very versatile. It's just so expensive.

I think once I get the hang of 425, it may be my "go to" along with Megs 34.
