Hey all...doing a 2006 black bmw 328ix on sat...just wanted to make sure this process would be ok for a newer car...

Wash
Clay
xmt 2 (on the more swirled areas...hood, roof, trunk)
Xmt 360 ( on the whole car)
xmt carnuba finishing glaze (on whole car)
pinnacle liquid souverain wax

Just really wanna know if the glaze after the 360 is worth doing, or is the glaze in the 360 enough of a glaze before the wax...thanks

No, dont use a glaze before or after 360. Go straight from the 360 to your wax.

would it be better to not use the 360 at all and just use the xmt 2 on the whole car and use the glaze instead of the 360? I also have the pinnacle advanced swirl remover and finishing polish...would either of these work better if placed into the process?

I really like the XMT 360, so Id use it. The glaze is really an optional step in the process. Plus, Ive heard some people were a little disappointed with the XMT glaze. But I havent used it myself.

cool...i got a bottle of the glaze so maybe i'll just put it on my car after a nice wash and before a coat of wax...my black bimmer was detailed a few weeks ago, but i didn't use the glaze, and its due for a wash and wax...

Side note.... Is it a 328iX, or is it an Xi? I thought it was the latter. I've had my eye on that car as well. Nice choice!

I love using the XMT finishing glaze and then a coat of Sauveran or SSII on the cars I do. The finishing glaze goes on soooo good even in the NC sun and humidity. I will however be receiving my first bottle of XMT 360 on Monday and after I use it I will have a better unbiased opinion about the glaze vs. the 360 before a coat of Pinnacle.

i just don't see why i can't use both...is it just a waste of product cause the 360 is a glaze too/? i would imagine that another layer of a true glaze couldn't hurt...
