This weekend I'm working on a 2011 Chevy pickup.
The issues with the truck really isn't about swirls, even though there are some but not bad.
It's covered with overspray and tree sap, it feels so rough.
It will take a lot of claying to get it smooth then I'll polish it using some 205, hard to tell on video but the truck is lacking shine.

Here is a video of it, I'll post after pics and a video of it.
Another fun weekend:xyxthumbs:

Hope you guys have a fun weekend detailing something:)

That's gonna be fun! I'd try a strong wash with dawn, letting it dwell. Repeating the process many times.

If you have a foam cannon, try dawn and apc. I've had really good luck with that combination for stripping. Work in the shade and let the soap do a lot of the work.

Any remains should be able to be removed with a claybar, nanoskin towel, mitt, or auto scrubber.

Good luck.

I did wash it using Dawn amd you're right, it did help to remove some of the crap on it, the truck was washed once in the last year, you can't see it on video but it was so dirty.

Thanks for the tip:xyxthumbs:
Yes it will be fun, can't wait to begin polishing but still have some claying to do on some areas.
