I washed my truck yesterday and today it rained while I was driving. I would like to use a product like Griot's garage speed shine, but I am wondering if I picked up too much dirt. Here are some pictures showing the dirt around the wheel wells. Can I clean this off with a quick detailer or will it scratch the paint?

LOOKS ok, just do those bottom, most soilded areas, last

Where do you live? That looks like sand. I would not wipe anything off if it is major scratches will occur.

from my perspective it looks ok to quick detail but if you are serious about not scratching your paint soak the car down first then use the quick detailer with a deep pile microfiber but if you don't have the time just use a deep pile microfiber and quick detailer

Near the Florida panhandle. I am pretty sure it is sand. Looks like another wash is needed. Thanks all.

Do a quick blast with the hose, then use you QD. Done!
