New Car and need tips

I dont own any polishers or buffers, i do everything by hand and i try to take care of my rides. we just bought a brand new 2013 black civic. since its my first new car ever, i want to start right from the beginning. i plan on washing then claying the car then use Klasse then top with either 845 or sig series 2. the black does have some metallic flakes in there. but essentially i was looking for any tips or things for a new car!!!!

One more thing, since its a black car which of those waxes would look better? is megs black wax worth a look into or something else for black? i cant afford souveran which i know is awesome or black
