Hey guys I got a quick question. The barrels of my rims are disgustingly dirty with brake dust, maybe corrosion also not sure yet. I never got around to getting the wheels off to clean the insides of them, but I am doing a brake job soon (rotors and pads) and since I will be having the wheels off, so I ordered some of the Poorboys Wheel Cleaner and I'm looking forward to trying it as I have heard really good things about it. I have Tuf Shine on my tires, and if I get overspray on the tires will that remove the clearcoat? If so no big I have a lot of the clearcoat on hand, but I am just curious.
I like using Mothers chrome polish on my wheels and exhaust tips so after the rim barrels are clean I will be using that on them. Will be posting before and after pics.

Thanks guys
Phil

Funny, I just did this with the exact same products (PB's Spray & Rinse). It won't ruin the coating to the point it needs to be stripped and re-applied. But if the acid sits too long on an area it may need to be touched up.

I just put on another coat afterwards and all was fine.
