My brother is a lucky guy. Not only is he the owner this car, he got it polished for his birthday present!
So let's start off with the bad. He thought he could do some spray painting in his garage with the car uncovered and the result was the majority of the car ending up with overspray:bash:
I told him that I would be able to clay bar it off and polish it to clear up any marring and bring back its shine.

So here is what the clay bar was doing for me. To my surprise and luck the overspray was coming right off as planned.

After I was done I checked out the car and it looked like this all over the car. Bad pic (iphone) but much worse in person.

Since I was only wanting to do a one step I ran a few test spots to see what was going to work best.

-m205 white pad removed marring and light swirls and left a great finish but I wanted to see if I could go a little more aggressive for a better result

-UC on white pad really didn't remove much more than the previous combo and left behind a haze that would need polished. Since the one step was the goal I went back to my first test and ran with it.

Much better than before. No where near perfect some stuff was just too deep.

After the polishing I applied some Collinite #845. The more and more I use this stuff the more I love it. It took some time to get my process down but now its easy on easy off and it looks great!

So here are some after shots. Sun already went behind the trees but it was a great improvement from when it was brought over. No more white specks and it's now a well protected American Classic.

Thanks! He bought it running condition but the motor was on its last leg so he went with the crate motor did the brakes and a few other items to make the car drive a bit nicer.
