I've been using the Vapamore MR-100 for about a year with magnificent results. I decided to upgrade to a MR-1000 and I'm speechless. This thing crushes anything in it's path even on "low" pressure and "low" heat. Certainly no need for chemical tire, wheel, or engine cleaners anymore. Wow.

There really is no competition for steam. Even low pressure steamers do some incredible work. Glad it's working for you.

I wish to note that safety is of the utmost concern here. I have accidentally gotten a finger in front of the MD-100. Burns are instantaneous. But at at well over 300 degrees and up to 90 psi, I have decided to use special gloves with the MD-1000.

Care to tell us about the gloves?

Ouch. We have all been there. I wear regular mechanic gloves. Seem to work well and protection is definitely a good idea.

I took mechanics gloves and glued manifold insulator material on the outside. Eye protection is mandatory as well. Steam will burn you very badly faster than you can react. I guess we have to pick our poison. Chemicals are just as bad, they just work a little slower.
