Hi..

Got a question for you all...

I currently have WGDGLS on my car with Megs D156 over it...

I want to apply Colinate 845.....

Do I need to use wax cleaner to get everything off?

I would prefer not to remove the Wolfgang seal..

or do I wait a few weeks for the D156 to fade?

thxs

Mike

I'd just go right over the top with the 845.

I always strip my old lsp with a paint cleanser. That way I can get a good representation of what the new lsp really looks like.

I typically just go over with the new product

This is really the correct way to do it. Sure you can just slap it on there, but why not do it right?

On the other hand, its likely possible to strip the spray wax chemically you have on top of the sealant - without harming the sealant. If your experience is the same as mine, that WG sealant will be next to impossible to get off chemically.

I always clean the paint before applying a new coat of protection
