I love to use spray waxes and i was wondering if its okay if i use a spray wax to dry a vehicle along with a damp microfiber. So recommendable or non-recommendable? Thanks.Im the MAN

I don't see why not. OCW is water based. Actually i'll probably try that next wash.

I use a two towel drying system. A damp MF to remove most water, then waffle weave to dry/buff.

I don't think this is a very good advice. OCW is not meant to be a drying aid and probably will streak quite badly.

D156 is not a wax: it is a "wax"...since it has no carnaúba in it. It's like DG 951 - a synthetic sealant.

If you want a true wax that can be used as a drying aid, try, for instance, 3M Quick Wax.

I always do, I spray it on the MF then on the car after post washing it, I use spray wax as a drying aid.

Idk IMO it works, good luck and don't quote me.

It wasn't advise. But i was gonna try it soon since the car is filthy again and report the findings.

Griot's spray wax is to be used as a drying agent.

I do know that it's a synthetic spray wax. Just giving the OP a suggestion since there was no indication of wanting a true carnuba based spray wax.

D156 has been great for me as a synthetic spray wax that can be used during the drying process.

No, not a good one. It all depends on the product you choose. Some good "drying aids" are:

Aquawax
Prima Hydro
Chemical Guys V7
Prima Slick
Chemical Guys Speed Shine
Poor Boys Spray and Gloss
Finish Care 425
Optimum Instant Detailer
Most any waterless wash product
ONR 1:16

The first 3 are spray "waxes", the others not. Really it comes down to 2 things IMO. How thick the product is and how finicky (or streaky) it can be to work with. All of the product I listed are easy to work with and don't streak. Non of them are very thick.

All the products I listed I have used as drying aids with great results.
