Hey guys,

Purchased the following:

Meguiars G110v2 DA Microfiber Correction System Complete Kit
Mequiars Mirror Glaze #20 Polymer Sealant
Glass Science Clear Windshield Kit
Meguiars Gold Class Shampoo & Conditioner
Meguiars Supreme Shine Rubber & Vinyl Protectant
Forever Black Tire & Gel Kit

The plan is to run the DA with the correction compound first. Then apply the sealant followed be the kits wax.

I would like to know if doing this would yield good results. Also. Can I apply the sealant with the DA? And can I apply wax and/or sealant with the DA every time I work on detailing the car?

Appreciate any answers you may provide.

Hey guys,

Ensure you do not go above speed setting 4. Always clean the discs after EVERY section. If you have compressed air this is the best way to clean the pads after every section finally switch your pads often.

WIth good Technique you can achieve great results with what you have.

Yes you can use the DA for applying wax. Are you going to use the finishing disc or do you have a finishing foam pad?

Appreciate any answers you may provide.

All my answers are in red! :props:

What about a clay bar?

I agree with Evan J.'s answers. Cleaning those microfiber pads is crucial, as well as going slow and steady with the compound. Make sure the fibers are seperated after each section is completed. Claying will also be beneficial of course. Side note: that finishing wax smells amazing!

@Evan - planning on getting a conditioning brush for the pads for in between sections and cleaning them with the pad cleaning solution when done.

Also. Going to use the finishing disc to apply the finishing wax that came with the DA system. Wanted to apply the sealer with the DA as well but not sure what pad to use, so I will be applying manually.

I had read about the clay bar but wasn't sure if it was absolutely necessary. Maybe I will just get it to see how it works.

@soarinsirg - I take it you have used this DA system...thanks for the tip on the microfiber pad :)

With the conditioning brush be sure your cleaning those fiber in the pads very good and after every section and change the pad after every panel. The pads are very very sensitive to heat and will fail if there is too much build up product in the fibers, too fast of speed setting, and too much pressure. So change them often and and clean them well too avoid the failure. The less product you use the better less is more!

You can use a foam finishing pad to apply any wax or sealant. Be sure to apply them very thin.

Get your self a clay bar and clay the sure face of the paint you will be surprised at what you remove. This process is very easy and will and much needed gloss to the paint surface.

One last thing before you start do a test spot and most if all have fun!

I'd get and use some clay, even if you think it's not needed, trust, it's needed especially just to be extra clean when polishing!
