So my wife's cousin had her head gasket recently replaced. It sat under a tree collecting twigs and dirt in the process. While over for the 4th we discussed how her car needed to be detailed bad. I offered to help her by detailing her car for free.
My process was
Wash-cg glossworkz
Dry
Doorjambs-opti clean
Vacuum
Interior clean-megs interior clean
Interior dressing-megs supreme shine
Headlight repair-megs HD kit
Clayed-megs kit
Polished-megs ultimate polish
Waxed-collinite 845
Quick detail-megs gold class

SO much easier on the eyes! I bet the neighbors didn't even realize its the same car. Another point for shelf items!

Thank you. This is one of my first full details besides my own vehicle. It was fun but a bit challenging. Wish I had a da polisher but for now this was all by hand.

Only thing was a drill used on the headlights with the wool attachment. Other than that it was done by hand and yes my arms were burnt out. But in the end it was worth the experience.

Looks a lot better now. Great job! How long did it take you do the exterior by hand?

The steering wheel looks like a lost cause. :)

Yup I told her to just buy a cover for now. But the exterior probably took me about 3.5 hours. I should have done a compound then polish but didn't have enough time for a two step correction. Love collinite 845 because it is easy to use, looks good, and seems to be lasting very long.
