Anyone out there done any correction work on a Smart Car?

I recall reading somewhere the paint is a little different and behaves a little differently to polishing. Any truth to this? Any problems I should be aware of or recommendations on pad / polish combos?

Any info appreciated. Thanks guys

BTW - searched around and didn't find much on topic because 'smart' and 'car' come up quite a bit in the search results

tried searching for you, couldn't recall how to refine the search so that smartcar is one word to ideally aid in the search, perhaps someone else can chime in on that, funny thing is this thread is the top result for smart car paint correction search now lol

Found a few threads for you Bryan.

Not sure if that will help. Best of luck, can't wait to see the final outcome.

Well even if I've done a hundred of these cars the one your going to work on might be different.
Here's a piece of advise the Paint Whisperer told me years ago and it applies to everything I do besides paint:
"Let the paint tell you what to do"

Meaning, do a test spot.

With that being said, these cars are made by Mercedes so think of it as a Benz. Then when you get the car forget everything you've read, do a test spot and then "let the paint tell you what to do"

I'm sure it won't be a problem to correct any defect on this car.
