washer fluid question

Is there an additive or a certain washer fluid that is less likely to spot the paint? Thanks.

You could try this. It is great on it's own and can be used on painted panels which I have tried and works well. Another thought maybe to mix in some rinseless wash.
I use the DG on the windows but never mixed it with the washer fluid.

I use what Dave (above) suggested. Works great. My car is white and I get minimal evidence that I washed. I love how the DG beads up.

Which is, IMO...A few steps up the washer fluid ladder from the: ~$1.29 "blue stuff" in the gallon jug.

I've even removed the windshield-washer reservoir-bottles, pumps, paraphernalia
from several of my vehicles. Too much extra weight to justify to be carrying around.

How do you like the rain repel? I've been using aquawax on all the windows but wasn't sure if the rain repel worked better.
I might pick some up on my next order.

It is the only thing I use anymore besides Nu-glass or plain water and a drying towel. I tried Aqua Wax and it seemed to leave an oily streaking that I really had to work at to get rid of (I really hate doing windows). The Rain Repel goes on very well and streak free without any effort at all. It also lasts a fair amount of time and I use a terry cloth and window waffle weave for subsequent cleanings between Rain Repel coatings. It doesn't rain here very often so when the window loses it's slickness I use the RR again. I would highly recommend trying it. One of the best 9.00 I ever spent. I know it states "recommended for exterior use" but I use it inside and out.

Just washed the Daughters car this morning. Last RR application was a month ago and the water just ran off. The water run off during rain is pretty good and if using wipers they seem to wipe better and glide on the windshield. Let me know how you like/dislike it. Personally I think you will love it. My last order I ordered 2 bottles because I did not want to run out but a little goes a long way.
