The vehicle owner came in for a Decontamination Detail and after claying the paint I knew that I had to go the extra mile. I was able to remove and diminish a majority of the swirls by performing a Minor Paint Correction. However, since this vehicle spends quite a bit of time off-road, the deep scratches remained. Menzerna Final Finish was used on a white Lake Country pad to polish the paint.

Thanks. The first round of cleaning involved steel wool and Optimum Power Clean diluted at 3/1. I wanted to remove as much contamination as possible before polishing the stainless steel. Optimum Metal Polish was used injunction with a 4 inch orange Lake Country pad via a Flex rotary. A small portion of the upper exhaust tip had to polished by hand using steel wool.

Great results!

Thank you.

Great job on that beast mate !

Polishing the roof on this truck was no easy task. Thanks for viewing.

Awesome results. Are those last pictures of a steamer? No interior pics?

Thanks. Yes the last two pictures are of the leather being steam cleaned. Since the interior was black and wasn't too soiled the after pictures didn't look all that different from the before pictures.

I do have some pictures of heavily soiled interiors on my Critical Details Instagram (http://instagram.com/criticaldetails#) if you are interested in viewing them. I detailed a Cadillac Escalade with light colored leather the other month and the pictures are pretty dramatic

Great work! Big improvement :xyxthumbs:

Thank you. The owner had no idea that their truck could look so good again. I told them that if they ever wanted to take the paint to the next level I could restore even more gloss with a Major Paint Correction.

Looks much better now and hopefully the owner will take you up and bring the condition of the paint over the top.
