Waterless-washes: Sometimes referred to as Quick Detailers (QD's).
Meguiar's had a product they introduced in 1981 called: "Trigger Wash"...that was later renamed to "Quik Detailer"
I don't know off-hand how many years (decades) ago that it was introduced...
But there was a product called QEW (Quick and Easy Wash) that you didn't use any water to rinse.

Then there is the good ol' stand-by: Dri-Wash & Gard...been around for quite awhile now.

Protect-All was available for campers for many years ... not sure if it was the first.
