View Full Version : Apply glaze before WGDGPS 3.0?

I have this GG glaze that I want to use up. (The car is going to be polished to remove some swirls prior to this.)

Could the glaze be applied before WGDGPS 3.0 without its interfering with how WGDGPS 3.0 bonds to the surface? The GG site states you can put a sealant over it, but I assume they are talking about their own sealant.

A bigger question: Would you even benefit from having a glaze there if you've polished and are applying WGDGPS 3.0?

Since you will be polishing, I would not glaze and just go with 2 coats of WGPS.

If its acrylic based like EZ creme glaze by all means its the perfect post-polish, pre-LSP step.

In my experience with CG glazes, and I've tried them all; is that they don't last long. Anything applied over them don't last as long when compared to WGPS by itself.

Clarify: Chemical Guys or Griot's Garage?

I have an almost full bottle of Griot's Garage glaze...

Most of the glazes contains oils and fillers especially Griots Glaze.

Putting WGPS over this glaze will shorten the durability of the WGPS.

So... Wolfgang's own Finishing Glaze would be the exception right?
