hi guys, there are hard plastics bars all around my car that I think there is a metalic finish which is darker than the material under.
having scratches on them shows that to me, this is my understanding though.

The best ways to make it all look the same?
1. I can remove them and put a layer of paint on them.
2. I can use type of plastic-type labels that can be applied on with heat.
3. other than these, what would you recommend me except replacing them with new ones?

I am not an expert, but maybe you can polish like you do with headlamps when they are not clear..

Yup, since it is plastic, treat it as if it were plastic headlamps. Sand then polish, then if you want to go the extra mile, coat it with Opti-Lens or a coating for plastic.

I'd be looking at something like Meguiar's PlastX.

I've seen many bug deflectors that seem 'hard' when in fact they are quit soft.
