Never seen cc failure like this, what are your thoughts?

Has to be something spilled on the hood. Doubt it's clear coat failure in the traditional sense

Yeah, that looks like paint-thinner vandalism.

Yep had to be something topical like a liquid that some have stated that was on the paint just by looking at the way the clear coat looks.

Looks like acetone damage maybe.

it could also be paint stripper in a light percentage
