I dipped my toes in the water last night. I did some parts on my black 2003 GTI. When I bought it 2 months ago it showed signs of poor washes and I wanted to do something about it. Here are some pictures. Please give me a break, its my first time and the pictures are decent. Didnt have the proper lighting. :xyxthumbs:

For a first timer I say it looks great. Did you do a 1 step or 2? What products did you use and machines to achieve your outcome?

To be honest. I did it the poor mans way. I am thinking of repainting the car so I did not want to spend too much money. I bought a correction kit from Meguiar's and a DA Polisher from HF. I know people bash on the Polisher, but it did the job. The kit came with 4 pads, 2 cutting, 2 finishing. It also came with a bottle of the cutting compound and finishing wax. That is all I have used so far. I am hoping to take advantage of the sale going on but I have no clue on what to buy. But thanks Italian
