I have a few questions about detailing my four door f150 short bed. Looking over the paint all i can really find are the spider web type sctraches and had a few questions on how to remove them. I do not have the money at the moment to buy a DA.

1. I wanted to buy the meguiars restore paint kit because it comes with a clay, towels, and the ultimate compound. Would i need to buy a polish to follow up with the compound?

2. Would the compound be to aggresive for what i need or since i am doing it by hand its ok?

3. Should i just skip the comound and just use the polish?

Thank yall ahead of time. I have read a lot on this forum so far but couldnt really find a answer for this.

If you are working by hand, most likely you will need the UC and if you use the right techniques, follow up polish will not be need. It is only if you make some mistakes that will require something like UP.

UP will not have the adequate cut to take out your defects especially if you are doing this by hand.
