Hi,
I noticed my car was hit last night with some paint tranfer. there is also a good scratch. Any suggestions how to tackle the paint scratch. I do have touch up paint.
I have many different pads and a rotary. I would like to get the paint smooth when i touch it up.
Thanks!!

I would start out washing and claying what you can off of it first. Then step up to using the rotary as least aggressively as possible first. You may be able to get a majority off with just that. How bad is the scratch? Any pictures and can you catch it or is it a surface scratch?

Thanks for responding.
Unfortunatley it appears to be a surface scratch.
It is through the clear coat, down to the metal.
I cant afford to bring it to an autoboby shop.
Fortunatley its on the low side of the bumber, doesnt show that bad.
I notice it and its driving me nuts

First I've learned to know when to say "thats good enough". When and if you can put your nail in a scratch its too deep for 100% removal. That said you can make dramatic improvemennts to its appearance.
I would:

Wash
Clay
M105
M205 to blend pannel
And seal I like M21 and relax and have fun
