:( Crap! I'm heading out to work this morning and turn on the news and find out I've got a tropical storm going directly over my head today! We need about 4 more of these to help with the drought----it's a good thing!;) Raining like a mutha right now......a LOT more to come.

With yesterday being the 1st day of hurricane season the weather news casters were in their glory with a tropical storm in the gulf. They really like to hipe up the storms even when they're thousands of miles away from Florida.

Yesteryday we had a lot of much needed rain. This morning it's winding in Cape Coral but not currently raining.

The sun just came out here so I think Barry has pasted SW Florida already. It's still windy. It was actually nice to see lots of rain yesterday.

The sun keeps going in and out in Cape Coral but it's a little choppy for jet skiing.

:D You got that right Meghan. Even though the sun's back out I think I'll pass on jet sking today. Instead I might put new brakes pads on my van. Not much fun but I least I won't require Advil when I'm done.

I have 2 Yamaha waverunners. A 3 seater and a 2 seater. My wife and I sometimes take them out to North Captivia and Cayo Costa. I love it out there. Do you ever go out there on you jet ski?

Can't surf, too sloppy out. My damn pool overflowed last night, salt water pool also, have to test the water as all that rain pry threw the salt balance off.

here's me jumping, I don't even know how many years ago, was when Hurricane Floyd was off the coast, Waveraiders rocked b/c they were quick and so light.

It must be high tide right now. With all the wind blowing the water in it's almost up to my dock. It has a long ways to go before it would get in my pool. The highest it has ever been with a hurricane going by is about 6" over my seawall. My house is 9'6" above sea level.

Barry High Tide by my dock:
