Can I use a 3 inch backplate on a 6 inch griots DA buffer I wanna get for my side fenders where there are rounded parts and small tight places where i cant reach with my 5.5 flat pads or should I just go and buy 6 inch lake country kompressor pads how well do they work?

Yes you can use a 3.5" backing plate on your Griots. I like Kompressor pads on a rotary, but see no advantage on a DA.

It's not a GG6, close enough in this case... I've found a 3.5" BP and 4" CCS pads on a PC 7424XP to be a powerful combination. The same should apply to your GG6.
