Took my car in for service today. Told the advisor not to wash the car afterward. They did. This is the gift they left me. Not a single panel escape the wrath.

That sh!t pisses me off. I took my one week old car to a "detailer" to get washed and waxed cause i was feeling a bit lazy. Came back to a car filled with swirls.

I would take it back to them and show them what they did, and how your car used to look. It's disgusting to see this type of activity go on without a price to pay. He'll, I'm not sure what I'd do, but one thing for sure, I would make them be damn aware of what they did.

I already made some calls and left several voicemails to both the service supervisor as well as the original advisor. I also went on their live chat and told the representative. The service dept will not re-open until Monday and he told me that they will contact me. What you see here is only a small sample of the pictures I took. For the sake of documentation, I sent a few of these pics to the advisor and his supervisor.

Let see what happens on Monday.

That sucks. I bet your car wasn't even dirty to begin with. I can't stand it when other people touch my car. It makes me want to not even go in for regular service, but you can't do EVERYTHING yourself....

I think they dried the car with a dirty towel since I am certain they don't do 2 bucket wash.

When I dropped off the car in the morning, I saw a guy wiping down all the cars on the lot with a (singular) large chamois. 20 feet in front of him was a guy in a truck with a power washer rinsing all the cars down and no evidence of soap being used anywhere. I am sure this was the method they employed to wash my car.

I had a layer of dust. Nothing a good foam pre-soak couldn't resolve. I was thinking of washing it on the weekend after they performed the service.

I tell you this. I am not doing anything until I hear back from the dealership.

The same thing happened to me a while back. I took mine in for a service and alignment and I made sure the knucklehead service advisor knew not to wash my car. Low and behold he didn't tell anyone and when I asked where my car was after its alignment the lot boy said they were running it through the wash. I ran to the back to catch my car coming out of the swirl o matic.... Man was I irritated.

I feel bad for you sir. This is why I advise my clients to never let a dealership get a hold of their car.

I have my local mechanic up the street. He works for the customer not the money. Like these dealers seem to do.

If you wanted to get really down and dirty. Could you not sue? (Completely just wondering, not trying to start wars) lol

What a load of garbage. I would have been livid and heated if this had happened to me. I feel horrible for you.

I am waiting to hear back from them and I am sure they will offer to have their detail crew to work on it. Based on what I seen on the lot, I wouldn't let them get near it.

To correct the damages, it is simply a function of how much my time is worth and how much of it I can spare for this project. To be honest...I am not sure what I want from them.

Charge them for my time...Odds are against me on this.

Ask for a credit toward the next service..they might consider this so it is a possible maybe.

Ask for a steep discount and trade this one in for a new one..... In my dreams.

Up until now, this dealership has treated me fairly and this is the first screw up they had with me.

I am upset but I definitely be "ANGRY" if I didn't know how to fix this.
