I have an issue with my car and the gauge cluster. On the gauges there were some nasty smear marks. Glass cleaner would not remove them at all. Looks like an interior cleaner splashed on the lenses causing smears. I tried plastic x and that seemed to help after a couple applications. But now the gauges are way too reflective. Come to find out since my car is a convertible the factory applied an anti-glare coating to the lenses. I believe the plastic x removed that coating. Is there a product available to apply or spray to the gauge faces? I would hope there is a product out there similar to what I need. If only I would have known beforehand. Any help is greatly appreciated.

thank you.

I see that auto geek sells some plastic spray cleaner. Detailers Plex All for example claims to reduce glare. Anyone have experience with this product?
