Found some scratches on my car. Used Meguiars Scratch X on it.

Good job looks great.. did you use a machine or by hand?
I've used scratchx alot I have done many test using that compared to megs ultimate compound. My personal opinion is uc seem to work better for me. I don't know y it must seems like it finishes nicer

It was done by hand. Did a couple applications.

-There seems to be just a slight "ghosting" where the deepest looking scratch originally was.
(Maybe it's just the way my old-eyes are: "envisioning")
Just wondering...
Could you catch your fingernail on this particular scratch prior to polishing?
If so...You may not want to go down any further into the CC.
I'd be pretty well satisfied with how it now appears...

You can't really feel it. It was a fine scratch.
