I'd admit I have been away for a while but my cars need another round of detailing. I need to replace a few Edge 2000 pads. You know the double sided foam pads that connect to the DA via a hex head.
Where are they now? Even a google search turned up nothing.
Whats everyone using now?

Doesn't look like they are stocked any longer though.

Not enough demand. 3M bought the rights. Gone the way of the dodo bird.

I wonder if 3M put them up on the shelves in the back of one of their
World-wide warehouses for future distribution. :dunno:
In the meantime...
I bet they want their: 3M Perfect-It Double-sided Foam Polishing Pads,
(along with their Quick Connect), to be the sought after Edge 2000 substitutes.
Of course I may be wrong.

WOW... ok thanks for the update. Does anyone know if the 3M pads fit the old Edge adapter? Ouch those 3M pads are pricey...

I was able to use the new 3M pads with my Edge adapter no problem. The 3M foam pads are beefier but I dont care for their wool pad so much.
