I have looked and looked and I can never get a straight answer. The ones that do have an answer are for the old solution or they are for gallons. If I have a 32oz spray bottle how ounces of ONR do I need to how many ounces of water?

Optimum No Rinse Wash & Shine: clay lubricant, optimum rinseless wash, no rinse car wash, optimum detailing products (http://www.autogeek.net/optimum-no-rinse.html)

Add 2 ounces of No Rinse Wash & Shine to a gallon of water to make a super-slick clay bar lubricant. Wet the surface of your vehicle to provide a slippery protective layer beneath Opti-clay. After you’ve clayed each section, simply wipe it dry. This solution is as effective as any clay lubricant you can buy!

Personally, I use it at QD strength for claying - even though it is a waste of product.

To determine how many ounces of ONR to add in a 32 oz bottle, you need some arithmetic.

One (U.S.) gallon is 128 oz. Therefore, use 0.5 ounce with 32 ounces of water. Ok that's 32.5 ounces of solution, but 0.5 ounce "extra" isn't going to make any noticeable difference.

You could also do a google search for "how many ounces of optimum no rinse to put in a 32 ounce bottle?" and find a link to the optimum forums which tell you the same thing.

So roughly 2 ounces per 32 ounce bottle? Its cheap so I want the most lubrication for the clay using the QD ratio.

I know what you mean.
I don't know what good the higher concentration adds (if any), but after experimenting, I like the feel of the action better.

Happy detailing...:buffing:

It is cheap but I have a 32:1 and 32:2 and have yet to use the 32:2. Why waste it when you can double your total ounces.
