Work light ?

I was at Home Depot looking at work lights to better see swirls and scratches in paint. I noticed that they had ones with LED's as well as the Halogen bulbs. Pros and cons? I would think the LED's would run a lot cooler and use less energy.

Single diode LEDs work best at showing marring. Here is a great thread about garage lighting. Make sure you look through the whole thread as there are allot of good tips
