I'm looking for a glaze. Something with no protection, no abrasives, just pure shine.

Any suggestions?

CG Blacklight is one of the more popular ones. I don't really see it as a sealant like most would say, as the shine fades in a few days if there's no LSP over it, so it does fall in the glaze catagory. I would give it a try, I've had good results with it. Another one I'd recommend is the Blackfire Gloss Enhancing Polish, it has no cut and looks really good as well.

I use both Blacklight and chemical guys glossworkz but prefer Blacklight.

Wet glaze 2.0 is exactly what you are looking for. However it's not being manufactured anymore. You hopefully can find some online somewhere that still has some left to sell.

If ever a product needed a buyer to keep the product line going, its WG 2.0. I'm stretching my supply and guarding it under lock and key. It's a unique product.

The Detail Shoppe is no longer manufacturing it. What a shame.

I have only used 2 glazes so far, both being from Chemical Guys. The Extreme shine (purple one) and the Wet Mirror finish (green one). I really like the shine and slickness of the wet mirror a lot. It's one of my favorite products that I've gotten from them. My Camry is a metallic gray and it really does well on the flakes and it has no protection if I'm not mistaken. I think you will like it a lot.

Guys Ive never used a glaze. Was thinking of getting the Poorboys blackhole and white diamond glazes (i think) as its locally available.

So can I apply sealant or a ceramic coating or opti coat on top of a glaze or will IPA wipedown remove the glaze?

Also can someone explain or point me to a thread which tells what exactly is a glaze and difference between cleaner waxes and glaze. Is Meguiars Paint reconditioning creme a glaze or cleaner wax?

Sorry if the queries are too n00bish :(

Has anyone tried Mother's Glaze? I purchased a bottle but have not used it yet. I ordered Meguiar's #7, waiting for AG to ship.
