I used this last night after a maguires clay bar kit. Car looks great.

Anyone else use this combo, or one or the other and enjoy their results?

I have used the paste wax many times over the years with great results. Extremely sun friendly. Great product.

The maguires ultimate wax. The paste wax. It's like 25 bucks. Seems pricey to me. But I'm new to the scene

Browse the paste wax on AG. Or google Swiss VAX.

Any recommendations on a good sealant?

The most common I see recommended are Blackfire wet diamond, Wolfgang deep gloss 3.0 and Menzerna power lock. Can't go wrong with any of those.

I use Ultimate Wax all the time. Actually I use ULW (Ultimate Liquid Wax) much more than the paste version. Talk about a bargain wax! ;)

Speaking of a bargain wax, look at Meguiar's #26. It comes in both liquid and paste as well and has one of the highest DOI numbers out there. (DOI is Distinction Of Image and is a number that speaks of how well it reflects both the color beneath, as well as above without any distortion.)

The higher the number the better I'm assuming?

I compared Megs Carnauba Liquid Wax, Megs Ultimate Liquid Wax and Pinnacle Liquid Souveran Wax side by side on 3 panels on my Black Acura CL. All 3 looked great, could not tell the difference. Decided to go with Megs ULW as is a synthetic and should last longer. I was beginning to wonder if I was the only one on this forum who recommended Megs ULW.

Not sure why you say that, people rave about d156, the bulk equivalent

Yes. :D

I agree about Megs 156 btw, it's AWESOME!
I've played around with it and DG951, polycharging them both. Really adds slickness to them, especially the 951.

I did not know Megs 156 was the bulk equivalent of Megs ULW, I am a weekend hobbyist not a bulk buyer.
