Hey Geeks. I am by far an expert at this "trade". I have been having issues with getting the exterior trim of vehicles clean. No matter what I use, they always seem to still look dirty. It looks BAD if you try to "condition" the trim over the dirt. Any thoughts and suggestions. Thanks!!! I am limited on $$$, so cheap ways is always a plus.

I have always had good luck with regular all purpose cleaner like Meg's APC+. What have you tried so far?

Do you use a brush to clean the trim? I find a detail brush (or toothbrush) really helps to clean the textured trim on my vehicles.

Agree - some APC with agitation via a brush has always worked for me

Thanks for the response guys. I've tried "Power Purple" and various generic APC's. I guess I need to use a little bit more "agitation". Lol.

For bad faded plastic trim use a water spot remover and a brush to clean. Top with UTTG, DLux or something more permanent would be C4 or Opti Lens.
