Quick question about paint cleansers when do you use this in your car detailing procedures? Is this the right steps
1) wash car
2)clay
3) polish if there our swirl or scratch marks
4) (then paint cleanser?)
5) wax vehicle

If you are going to polish then you don't need to use a paint cleaner. If you are going to clay and not polish, I would say a paint cleaner wouldn't also be necessary but a recent thread proved this to be false (http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/auto-detailing-101/65481-blackfire-blackice.html).
A paint cleaner is used if you want to change LSP's from time to time, so that you can work on a "blank canvas" and make sure bonding to the clear coat will be optimal.

In the steps you listed you would use something like this

CarPro Eraser Intense Oil & Polish Cleanser, IPA, paint cleaner, polish remover, wax remover (http://www.autogeek.net/carpro-eraser-ipa.html)

This would remove any left over oils from the polish.
