Had some time this weekend so I did some much needed cleaning on the wife's jetta. This is her daily driver and its not garage kept so... Most here know I'm a die hard menzerna fan, but every detailer should always have a secondary brand. I decided to use the megs twins (105/205). The 105 is their newer foam pad compound. I like it a lot more than the regular 105. It still dusts just a little less, but its work time is far greater!

Might have to explain this one... This is a very reflective pic of the door. You can see in the mirror that the door is open. I placed a mirror up to reflect back on the door and you can now read the bottles correctly. So the whole picture is of just the door. Everything in the pic is reflection

And yes I see one of my pads got away from me and went under the car:(

I should mention... What pads will you be using? I was using LC orange flat pads. I do have and use the CCS pads, but with the 105 it will dust even more with what would get in the pads pockets.

They will still work fine, but you just might have a little more dusting?

This is my first time using a da, beside the gg 3", anything I should know as far as working it? Or just a couple passes?

Which DA are you using?? Either way I'm thinking you might find that you'll need to mist the pad up to extend your working time. Prep is key...make sure you do all basics to prep the paint.

Thanks guys. I would say that 99 percent of the rides I detail are work horses so some are pretty beat up when I get them. The LSP was liquid souveran. I did take advantage of the 15% off this past weekend and ordered some fuzion. Looking forward to trying that on a boss stang I have coming up!
