What can you afford and how much would you spend. There is not a best towel, just what you think is the best.

Here some of the towels AG carries. I am a big fan of the gold plush Jrs. They really work for all task. Get 20 of these and dont look back.

The blue Miracle towels are the best for that purpose in my experience/opinion

:iagree:

Price will dictate a lot.

I like the Miracle towels, Grey 530 towels, blue rolled edges towels just to name a few!

For the ones on here, the Miracle towel would get my vote out of the ones offered at AGO that I have tried. You dont want anything too plush for compound removal, it will aggravate you. I have some short nap borderless ones that work well for that but for a good all around paint towel the Miracle is nice. Short side for removal long side for final buff. I also prefer the 16x24".

On here? Quite a few, although they (as most quality towels) are pricy. The 530's are nice for a whole host of stuff. You can get away with far lighter towels though day in, day out. Stuff like dual nap 360's or 400's can work for everything from interiors to final LSP removal. I did a mini review (http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/product-reviews/64988-latest-microfiber-additions-cardaddy-stable.html)of some here recently and was impressed by all 8 in each of there different ways. ;)

I got a couple of the $9.99 blue (back to back sewn together towels) as part of the "free gift" with this weeks orders. Really heavy those two, but I have a 600 and 700 I like MUCH better.

just make sure they are ultra plush. Invest in good microfibers because they will save you a lot of time and pain in the long run.

Cobra Jr and miracle microfiber is good. In the beginning I bought mango, Sam club, and Costco to save money but they're not plush at all compare to the miracle one at AG. Now I have to get the correct one which waste more money. So far I have 130 microfiber towels total from Sam club, Costco, and Mango.
