Start here (http://www.autogeek.net/detailingtips.html). Then buy these books (http://www.autogeek.net/auto-detailing-business-books.html) before you do anything else.

Happy trails! :dblthumb2:

Cleanliness is key. On the car of course, but just as important your work area. When the ground is clean you don't have to worry about tracking dirt into the interior, and it's much easier to be productive not constantly looking for product.

All the above, and don't forget the #1 rule...have fun DRIVING your car because in the end, that is what its all about.

Prepping takes much shorter than cleaning up messes because you didn't prep. Also don't sell yourself short, do it right the first time and don't take shortcuts.

Try to maintain a stok of the Product´s you will be using. Do not wait until you have just bearly some.

keep your tools, accesories & product´s organize this will help you to be more efective, and not looking around for things

you can have product´s for basic & regular car´s And have the real good stuff & expensive one´s for those Higher paid Detail´s

15+ year´s doing this, And still learning!!!!!

The number one rule you will ever hear and probably not listen to is don't get sucked into the hype.

I don't know a single person who started out and didn't buy way more than needed.

Build your arsenal slowly and carefully. BOGO is great, but only get it if it was something you were going to get anyways.
