Im just starting out and I was going to go with the WG fuzion but the more I thought about it I don't think I need to start off with something that pricey. Im looking for a good wax for $50 or under, so let me hear your thoughts! Thanks for your time!

No I haven't thought about sealants. Im just getting started so not sure how many car show details I will have to start but I want something incase someone comes in that wants a full detail. I will be using the xmt 360 for basic.

A sealant is going to give you a much longer protection than a typical carnuba wax will. Given the right conditions like proper maintenance you can get 4- 6 months protection from a sealant.

I have heard good things about Finish Kares Hi Temp Wax. Personally I like using the Collinite Double wax and PoorBoys Natty lineup.

One thing to think about is that carnauba bases waxes will turn your car into a dust and pollen magnet. Sometimes a freshly waxed car with a coating of dust and pollen on it will look worse than a car with no wax at all. Something to think about. With waxes comes more maintenance to keep it looking good.

There are several waxes under $50. My favorites are the collinite boys (845 and 915), CG xxx , and poor boys natty series.

I would put collinite 915 or 845 up against any sealant as far as durability.. key to both is thin on cool panel. 915 does have a good look, and then again so does 845.

I use the DP max wax and I like it personally. For a sealant I just use megs Syn and it seems to work fine as well.

If you are looking for an excellent wax that's inexpensive, you can't go wrong with Collinite.
