I see a lot of detailers offering a basic package with rinse less wash... Why is rinse less better/faster than just a 2bm wash?

Possible water restrictions just to name one. There could be numerous reasons just depends on the person or company and location.

Some still use 2 buckets for rinseless when using a mitt. Others will just use a lot of presoaked towels once. Commonly called "gary dean" method.

Personally I like them because they are fast, easy and cleaner. We have no water restrictions but to me they just make less mess and accomplish the same thing. They also do not get everything in the area wet.

They save quite a bit of time if you're car doesn't need a solid foam pre-rinse or if it's hot out and you're avoiding water spots. By moving panel by panel you'll dry the panel much quicker avoiding them from forming.
