I am purchasing a new Subaru BRZ in Dark Grey Metallic, and would like to use a product that is a light polish, simple and that will finish in one step with no marring. Ultimately my goal is to enhance gloss, and remove towel marks, very light swirls, before sealing. Please recommend a very light polish and pad combo to be used with a Porter Cable 7424XP that I could use once or twice a year to make the paint look great before sealing/wax. I am not concerned with price. I would like to hear what you use on your personal car/baby. Thank you in advance!

M205 on a Meg's yellow pad but I would try a cleaner wax first. You'd be surprised at M66's ability to remove paint defects.

Blackfire SRCP w/ White pad
Blackfire WD w/ Blue pad

This is the combo I ended up purchasing after doing lots and lots and lots of reading here and watching video reviews.

I know what you mean. I have been reading for hours. I figured it would be best just to make a forum post with the car specifics I wanted to work on.

For sure....this site is amazing and you will get great advice here! Make sure you post up pics of the new ride and after pics when you get her polished and sealed.

Menzerna SF4500 was one that I was really thinking of trying and just picking up a bottle, I have read a bit about it while searching. What are you impressions of Sf4500? Does it finish perfect? No micromarring with a black or blue pad?

The Menzerna line is safe on all clear coat finishes correct?

:) I am really so pleased with both the service of autogeek and the forums. I have been a long term customer with AG about 6-7 years and was always a lurker on the forums, decided to step my game up and join! Thanks!

I heard about this product in some searches I performed. With so many options, I wish I had an unlimited budget and test panels!

Menz is safe on clear coat. SF4500 has given me fantastic results with a GG DA and a LC black pad - I'd highly recommend, and you'll find many fans here.

Good luck and send up some pics when you're done! :xyxthumbs:

SF4000 is another great choice if you want a similar finish to SF4500 but a little more cut.
