Is it a good idea to apply a Carnauba Wax after a layer of Paint Sealant?

If you want a warmer look then yes, it's fine. I did it cause my sealant makes it shiny and I want a more warmer, deep, and wet look.

Its a matter of preference.
But the important factor is... can you tell the difference?
I am not asking this question to belittle you anyway as many ppl will not be able to differentiate. If you cant... whats the point?

I see people giving the ok to apply a carnuba wax after sealant. The layer of sealant won't affect the carnubas ability to bond to the paint? A lot of carnubas product description say to only apply after using x-brand paint prep/cleaner fluid. "otherwise it won't bond properly". Any insight?

True Carnuba's don't really "bond" from my understanding. They more or less lay on whatever surface they are applied to. The fact that there are so many "hybrid" formulas out there does make this an interesting question. The way I see it as long as my base layer last I'm happy.

Since I wax my car for relaxation, waxing is much easier afer applying Blackfire sealant.

I don't like to do this until it gets cooler. I applied 2 coats of sealant a couple of weeks ago. I want to add another coat in a couple months so I can make it through the summer. I've always been told if I put wax on you really need to strip it before you put on another coat of sealant. Also I think the look of a sealant looks good on its own.

Also welcome to Auto Geek.

After a sealant, such as BF Wet Diamond, i will typically use Pinnacle Souveran Spray Wax. Does the job well.

I use DP Poli-seal, and top it with Max wax after it cures. My thought is it adds another layer of protection.

Do a test spot. You may prefer the look of the sealant sans wax topper.
