I have been looking around for a pressure washer lately and cant decide what to get. It needs to be compatible with the MTM foam lance. Right now, I am stuck between the
Campbell Hausfeld 1800 PSI (Electric-Cold Water) Pressure Washer w/Reel

and the

Craftsman 1700 PSI, 1.3 GPM Electric Pressure Washer w/ Steam Cleaner 50 States

and
Karcher 1600psi Electric Pressure Washer with Car Care Kit KRC1004 (https://www.google.com/shopping/product/6327347550787572142?q=karcher%20pressure%20washer&client=firefox-a&hl=en&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&bav=on.2,or.r_qf.&bvm=bv.46340616,d.eWU&biw=1920&bih=977&sa=X&ei=HgKQUYb1Fvir4APOxYHYCQ&ved=0CHYQ8wIwBTg8)

Do any of you geeks use these washers? If not what pressure washer do you use? Is it compatible with the MTM lance? Has it given you any trouble?
Feedback is appreciated, RomyM

I have the Karcher and use an MTM. Works flawlessly for me. I got my 1600psi at Walmart for $129. The soap tank is useless and I wish it had a roll up for the hose. But it has worked fine. You will need a Karcher K Series adapter ($15) to use the MTM.

It comes with a year warranty. If it breaks, you peel off the serial # sticker and mail it to Karcher and they send you a new one. You can keep the old machine I believe.

Only better deal I know of is a guy on here says Costco will warranty their electric pressure washers for life. He says they will replace it with whatever model they are selling. But, it sounds too good to be true.

How many pressure washer threads do we need?

Hmm. I didn't know a decent pressure washer could be had for less than $300+.

Subscribed.

Is an 1800 PSI unit powerful enough to blast mildew off siding and such? No point buying one if you have to hold it 2" away from anything to function.

Out here in Vegas, we don't really get mildew on our cars. the air is too dry:awesome:

I meant on a house.

Cars don't get mildew here, unless they sit under a tree or by the woods for a few years.

I just wanted it to have more than 1 practical application.

Ahh. I'm probably only going to use it on cars. And again our houses dont really get mildew on the outside because most newer houses have a desert landscapes here and the dry air.

I just bought one from sams club a week ago. It's a black max, 1700psi, 1.2 gpm and I just used it yesterday with my new mtm foam lance. Couldn't be happier. Washer went for $137 out the door.

Just buy whatever is available at Costco.

Save the box and your sales slip. When the washer fails, and it will fail, just return it for a cash refund and walk over and grab another. Repeat as necessary.
I am on my fourth washer.
