1. super dirty wheels that have never been cleaned for months and years.
we are talking about corrosion on clear coated wheels. the dirt, brake dust and tar have embedded into the wheels. No chemicals/clay/polishing could take it out. I've tried sonax fe, iron x, tar x, megs wheel brightener with no success.

2. dried compound and wax in crevices.
it can be cleaned out, just taking most of my time and energy.

3. cars with hard paint and deep scratches
swirlmarks can be removed but some cars just have deep scratches everywhere. plus it is a rock hard clear coat.

4. mineral buildup (calcium deposit).
if a car is never properly dried and the quality of the water is just so bad, then it will get lots of mineral buildup in crevices, cracks, everywhere. claying and acid is the only answer.

Had a jeep wrangler that had 5 gallons of soup spilled in it then left to sit for several days during the summer. Maggots everywhere. Did an extraction tornado cleaning and drivepur treatment and couldn't even smell it anymore. Should have charged twice what I did though.

For me it was a 2001 Dodge 2500HD, used on a farm and as a trailer tow. The dashboard was etched with dust and dirt from the farm. The carpets were a total mud mess. Took me 4 hours of work just in the interior.

At this point it was a W900 Kenworth cab and bunk. So much smoke damage in the head liner that it rained brown on me for three cleanings to get it acceptable. Puke for an animal of something in the bunk. Shoes had been worn throughout the cab and bunk. Grease in most of the dash switches and around the gear shift and between the seats. Had to throw the mattress away.

Grateful I had a steamer for the dash on a positive note.

After reading these experiences, I'm glad I don't do this for a living.

I didn't do it... BUT I saw the mess

Friend let her dogs stay at her moms house for a few days. Mom fed them beef, dogs weren't used to meat. On the drive back dogs had explosive diarrhea all over the back. To boot it was -40F outside and a 4 hour drive back. Local franchise detail shop took care of it for $70!

Dodge Nitro that was a bank repo. Person drove it through a corn field before the bank got it. Cloth interior....sat in the sun for a few days before I got it. It was gross enough without the mud literally all over inside and out. Took me 18 hours.
