Hey everyone, my brother wants me to get rid of the swirls in his 2006 black BMW. I have some products that I've used on my truck but I'm only equipped with a 1 step finish polish (HD polish) and I have the buff and shine green pads with a porter cable DA.

I'll attach some photos. The car is actually really dusty because it sits a lot while he's in school, so the swirls were hard to capture.
I can get chemical guys products fast because there warehouse is close to me so if anyone can recommend me which products to get to get rid of these swirls.

The RIDS are fine , just looking to clear all the swirls.

Do you want to do a multi step? If so look at V36 and the V38. If you want a one step the V34 looks to be a good choice followed by a wax or sealant of your choice.

What mind of pads would be good? 1 step or 2 step doesn't matter to much but if its a two step I would like to use some of the stuff (HD polish) as my second step.

I can't tell you what CG products to use, but that looks like BMW BSM paint, same as my car. Wolfgang TSR works very well on that paint for me on an orange LC CCS pad. If it has to be CG, I would go with their V polishes. You wont know which one without doing a test spot.

Thanks. I suppose it doesn't have to be chemical guys, I only wanted their products because I can get it in a day or two. Maybe I will give the Wolfgang TSR a try. Did you use that as a 1 step?

BTW, what is BSM paint?

The Wolfgang TSR reviews almost have me sold. I have a 20% off of buff n shine pads is there orange pad equivalent to what you used?

BSM is Black Saphire Metallic.

The Wolfgang duo is a fantastic compound and polish and works really well.

1 step? No way man. You could have though. No hazing or marring with orange pad at all. But, this car is my garage queen, do I want the max gloss possible. I went with Menz SF4500 after the finishing glaze. 4500 really adds something you can't catch on camera

The dots are PB's Black Hole before it was worked.
