Best product to remove paint transfer???

A neighbor asked me to clean up her bumper that got hit. It's mostly paint transfer which a few small dents. I was looking to see what people recommend as a good product to remove paint transfer as well as what pad or if hand application is better.

Is it car paint or house paint? One of those good solventy paint cleaners that they don't make anymore because of VOC regs work best on house paint. If it's car paint, you're probably better off with something like M105. I'd use an orange pad. Some people tout clay for paint transfers but it never works for me.

So, what if it is house paint? My friends Tacoma scraped against a house.

I would try claying it or mineral spirits first. Why polish / compound and (remove clear coat) if its not necessary? The water based Goo Gone also works well, along with Griots Adhesive Remover.

Just start with clay, then move to a more aggressive product.

Compound will work, but why not check if claying works instead.

Same with lady hawk.

Before AG i would have just got some rubbing compound and a microfiber towel. Then just rub by hand. (But got kicked and yelled at for even bringing up compound first)

For a complete detail including claying and polishing I would clay first. If it is only a small spot repair I would just go straight to a cleaner wax, polish or compound to remove the paint transfer.

Yeah that's what I did. When I saw over spray on my car.

In the morning I knew it was over spray because I have seen over spray a bunch of times. It was night time and I panicked lol.

I used about three spots of compound and a MF towel. Just a few light gentle rubs and came right off.

Did not know over spray could be clayed off but did not have any clay anyway.

I really doubt I even tool off any CC

What I should have done, is try it polish. (Lessoned learned)

So I'm a total newb. I'm trying for the simplest solution. I'd hate to make it worse :) won't mineral spirits strip the paint?
