I painted my rims myself about a year and a half ago and now the paint is starting to chip and now I just want the rims back to stock color. I didn't sand them, prime them or anything else before I painted them. I just sprayed the paint right on. I tried gasoline but that didn't work and I even tried my pressure washer on full blast and that didn't work either. What can I do to get rid of the paint?

Hey, I had no idea what I was doing, lol. But yes, I completely regret it now.

I had a friend that did the same thing. What we ended up doing is removing the lug nuts, replaced the wheel with a new one, then put on new lug nuts. It looked great after we finished.
