I came across this in a client's car just right now. I took a picture with my phone and posted it, so i might get an answer of what this is?

Is it a kind of fungus?

Looks like a gummy bear to me.

Ok, I enlarged the picture, looks like wax that dripped out of one of those candle air fresheners that got too hot.

does the client have kids/like candy?

It does look like some sort of mold/fungus growth, or the remnants of a melted Ricola cough drop.. Is it under a seat? does the client know of it?

He said that the car was in the yard for over a year and that the yellow "things" were smaller before and grew in size.

That's pretty gross if its a living organism. You gotta get that decontaminate ASAP. Who knows what kind of stuff is in there. I would burn it lol jk.
