Boston Memorial 2013

As most of you know I took a couple days off for my birthday to head home for a long weekend.
I had the honor of visiting the memorial that was set up after the Boston Marathon bombing.
I took a few photos and thought I would share with you, you can definitely feel
the pride of Boston on the streets there. With tragedy it is always nice to see everyone
pulling together to get through this horrible event that struck this city.

This is for the four that were killed, the circle was filled with cards children had made.

As a Boston fan I know parting with one of your favorite hats is a big deal,
so this was very touching to see.

The Lenox is right across the street from the finish line and they had a lot of runners staying
there for the event.

Forum is right where one of the bombs went off at the finish line, they are still working
on getting it back up and running.

Was nice to see in the park where the memorial was all the fresh blooms,
reminds you of the beautiful things in life while standing in the middle of
what seems like a horrible nightmare.

I was very glad I was able to get to see all of this, keeps life in perspective for you,
when you think you are having a bad day just remember there will always be others
having a worse day than you!

Shows what makes OUR country so great, thanks for the photo's as I refused to watch anything about it on any news outlet, I really appreciate the human perspective in those photos because the photo's speak for themselves!
