Would this Megs wax be a good spray wax over Collinite 845 wax. The Megs. is a synthetic going over 845 which is pure wax.

I`ve been using Megs Ultimate spray wax and like it a lot but it`s on top Megs NXT 2.0 and just found out the x-press is the same spray wax so I`ll be ordering it in the large size [ and by the way save a lot of money ]

D156 is a great spray wax for topping. It really has nice gloss and depth for a spray wax.

M135 synthetic detailer is the same as Ultimate Quik Detailer...

Thats what I understand. there was a thread, someone asked if the 2 products were the same and someone from Meguiars said the products were the same other than D156 was marketed to detailers and USW was marketed to the consumer. If you do the math the D156 costs about 1/3 the price of USW.

Yes, they are the same. Only difference is scent and color :dblthumb2:

Michael Stoops of Meguiar's confirmed this.

D156 should be in the detailing hall of fame...it's that good. Whether in northeast winters, or in the bright hot sun, its easy to use and looks great.

OK...I'm stupid AND still confused! A couple of questions. I have some Meguiar's Ultimate Quick Wax, at least that's what is on the label. Is this stuff the same wax that you are referring to as " Meguiar's Ultimate Spray Wax" ? Secondly...I looked on the AutoGeek site and can't locate the D-156 you are talking about. Would like to order some but don't see it? Third...From what I have read, the rap on this is that durability is short. Does it have any sealers in it or just wax? Hate to be a pain but don't want to order the wrong thing.
Thanks

1) Yes, that is what we were talking about.

2) Stop using the hyphen and you will find it: Meguiars Synthetic X-press Spray Wax, X-press car wax, Meguiars X-press spray liquid wax, D156 (http://www.autogeek.net/meguiars-xpress-spray-wax.html)

3) It is a sealant and not a wax. It's synthetic. I get anywhere between 2 and 4 weeks with ultimate quik wax so since d156 is the same, that is the durability you should expect.

I thought 845 was all wax because I never used it and finally someone said it had synthetics in it. So I now know it isn`t all pure wax.

I noticed that when looking at "All Meguiar's Products" the D156 is absent. But if you choose specifically the Detailer's Line, there it is. The Ultimate Paste Wax is pretty good too. I prefer it over the liquid version.
