Hydro2 topped Highlander

[primo spaghetti]

So i finally tried out Hydro2 on my wifes highlander today...her truck is opti coated (last year), and hydro2 gives it an awesome depth, gloss and slickness

it worked as expected and the results are amazing...except a couple of spots that looks like i didnt get it quite rinsed properly, or the heat dried it a bit fast...there is a bit of a staining like something running down the paint...im guessing it is excess hydro2.

Looks good. I like that color of red has a nice deep wet look.

how did u get rid of the staining or excess ? this was caused by not rinsing off fast enough ? how big of sections did you do ? just wondering cause I have some hydro2 on the way .

the staining is still there...but dont get me wronf its not that noticeable...and im sure it was a bit of user error on my part...im sure it had something to do with a warm panel or something...

i didnt even notice it until i was taking the pictures...

as for the method, I applied the hydro section by section in the garage after washing the vehicle and then pulled it outside to rinse each section after application...i did the hood and roof...then the side panels on the driver side, then the side panels on the passenger side..then the tailgate...i hit it with the pressure washer to rinse it out.

the staining almost looks like soap reside that didnt rinse off...other than the little bit of the dried soap like residue, it looks and feels awesome...
